In the miniature form of Brussels sprouts there is an abundance of beneficial components which help fight various illnesses. According to ancient believes it is good to dream Brussels sprouts. Its meaning being, that it will bring an individual and their family happiness and good fortune.


800 g Brussels sprouts, cleaned
40 g butter
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
1 tablespoons Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder
1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 Place the Brussels sprouts in hot, mildly salted water, and cook until they soften (approx.15 minutes). If you find a few bigger ones cut them in half to ensure they all soften up.
  • 2 Melt the butter, in a wider pan, add the oil and roughly fry the bread crumbs.
  • 3 Place Brussels sprouts, in the bread crumbs and add Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder, garlic and mix well on mild heat, for around 2-3 minutes.


Brussels sprouts can also be served as a main meal, by topping with sour cream.


Brussels sprouts prepared in this way can be served as side dish to any cooked meat.
