Sesame seeds can be replaced with chopped almonds.

Ingredients

800 g chicken breast fillets
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons soya sauce
salt
pepper
½ cup plain flour
2-3 eggs
300 g sesame seeds
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder

  • 1 Cut the chicken breast in to thicker strips. Sprinkle with lemon juice, soya sauce and Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder. Let stand in this marinade for a few minutes.
  • 2 Cover with flour, then dip into mixed eggs (seasoned with a little salt and pepper), and roll them in the sesame and bread crumb mixture – prepared earlier.
  • 3 Deep fry in hot oil at medium temperature until golden.
  • 4 Remove from oil and place them on an absorbent paper tissue.

Serving

You can serve sesame chicken hot or cold, with various sauces, for instance tartare.
