Dry the mushrooms well before slicing them. Cook them in preheated oil in a broad pan so that they remain juicy.


500 g button mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
4 tablespoons oil
4 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped
150 g Gauda cheese (or similar), sliced
Tabasco sauce /or/ hot pepper
1 tablespoon Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder

Preparation For this recipe you only need imagination!

Simple 4 Persons 40 min

  • 1 Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the mushrooms and cook until the water evaporates.
  • 2 When almost done add salt, pepper, several drops of Tabasco Sauce and Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder.
  • 3 Stir well, cook briefly and let cool.
  • 4 Add eggs and the mayonnaise.
  • 5 Mix lightly and place in an oven-proof casserole, arranging cheese slices over the top.
  • 6 Bake briefly in a preheated oven – about 10 minutes.


You may serve various fresh or pickled salads with this tasty dish.
