Brussels sprouts can also be served as a main meal, by topping with sour cream.


800 g Brussels sprouts, cleaned
40 g butter
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
1 tablespoons Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder
1 garlic clove, minced

Preparation For this recipe you only need imagination!

Simple 4 Persons 30 min

  • 1 Place the Brussels sprouts in hot, mildly salted water, and cook until they soften (approx.15 minutes). If you find a few bigger ones cut them in half to ensure they all soften up.
  • 2 Melt the butter, in a wider pan, add the oil and roughly fry the bread crumbs.
  • 3 Place Brussels sprouts, in the bread crumbs and add Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder, garlic and mix well on mild heat, for around 2-3 minutes.


Brussels sprouts prepared in this way can be served as side dish to any cooked meat.
