This is a famous Swiss recipe with original name Zurich Geschnetzeltes. It serves best with roasted potato. This recipe idea will satisfy all the veal fans.


600 g veal round, cut in cubes
1 onion, chopped
300 g button mushrooms, finely sliced
50 g butter
100 ml white wine
1 tablespoon Vegeta Beef Stock Powder
1 tablespoon parsley leaf, chopped
200 ml cooking cream
2 teaspoons corn flour

Preparation For this recipe you only need imagination!

  • 1 In a pan heat up the butter. Add veal cubes, onion and fry for five minutes.
  • 2 Add the mushrooms and Vegeta Beef Stock Powder and continue to braise for another 30 minutes. While cooking, keep adding small amounts of water.
  • 3 When the meat softens, mix corn flour with 50 ml of water, pour into the dish and mix. Add wine and cooking cream. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.


Enrich the meal by using dried edible bolete mushrooms, soaked in water for an hour prior to cooking.


Serve with roasted potato and decorate with parsley.
