The most typical of all Spanish dishes, paella, may be prepared in many different ways. Nearly every family has their own favourite recipe, and the difference is mostly in the choice of seafood used.

Ingredients

200 g turkey fillets, cut in smaller pieces
3-4 garlic cloves, chopped finely
230 g onions, chopped finely
150 g rice
200 ml white wine
200 ml saffron
1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
salt
pepper
200 g tomatoes, peeled and sliced
150 g peas
100 g green beans, chopped
100 ml olive oil
300 g shrimps (heads removed)
150 g scampi (whole)
300 g sea food mix
200 g mussels, cleaned
150 g artichokes, cut in cubes – tinned
250 g red paprika, sliced
100 g celery stalks, sliced
1 tablespoon Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder

Preparation For this recipe you only need imagination!

  • 1 In hot oil combine green beans with peas, and cook shortly.
  • 2 Boil the rice.
  • 3 In hot oil saute the turkey pieces, until they become gold in colour. Remove from the hot oil and cover to keep warm.
  • 4 In the same oil cook the onion, garlic, paprika, celery and the tomatoes.
  • 5 Add a little water, and bring to boil.
  • 6 When boiled, add previously cooked turkey, mussels, shrimps, scampi, seafood mix, artichokes, peas and green beans.
  • 7 Add white wine, Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder, saffron and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • 8 Cook for about 15 minutes, without stirring, in a covered casserole on low heat. Then mix in boiled rice and parsley and cook further couple of minutes.

Serving

Serve Paella sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
