Chicken with bamboo and mushrooms
Shiitake mushrooms have been growing in China since 1000 year. They are considered as having one of many benefits for the body, as well as having an excellent taste, especially in combination with ingredients such as bamboo and chicken.

Ingredients
| 4 | |
| 400 g | chicken fillets, cut in strips |
| 2 teaspoons | starch |
| 100 ml | oil |
| 60 g | red paprika, cut in strips |
| 100 g | bamboo sprout cropping |
| 60 g | fresh shiitake mushrooms |
| 1 tablespoon | soy sauce |
| 1 teaspoon | sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder |
| 1 teaspoon | ginger, chopped |
| 100 ml | water |
| 1 teaspoon | sesame oil |
Preparation
- Sprinkle the chicken strips with corn flour and mix well.
- In a wok heat up the oil.
- Cook chicken strips (in very hot oil) until they become golden yellow in colour.
- Remove chicken strips, and in the same oil cook paprika, bamboo cropping and mushrooms, for a few minutes. Then strain all of the remaining oil.
- To the vegetables add soy sauce, sugar, Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder and ginger.
- Stir in the water and sesame oil.
Serving
Mix the vegetables and meat well and serve hot accompanied with fried rice.
Tip
Instead of shiitake mushrooms you can also use any other type of mushrooms.
