Champignons / Button Mushrooms Spread
This simple, but unusual dish with a new taste is a great idea for a vegetarian meal.

Ingredients
| 4 | |
| 250 g | button mushrooms, chopped |
| 100 g | onion, chopped |
| 2 | garlic cloves, chopped |
| 40 g | butter /or/ margarine |
| 1 tablespoon | tomato sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | sour cream |
| 40 g | mayonnaise |
| salt | |
| pepper | |
| 1 teaspoon | parsley, finely chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder |
Preparation
- Fry the onion to a golden colour in preheated oil.
- Add garlic, button mushrooms and Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder.
- Cook untill all the liquid evaporates, and then let cool down.
- To the prepared mushrooms add tomato sauce, sour cream, mayonnaise and parsley.
- Season with pepper, stir well and add a pinch of salt.
- Chill the spread in the refrigerator.
Serving
Serve with bread, cucumbers, onion, or hard boiled eggs.
Tip
You can also use the blender to chop the mushrooms.
