Bean Salad

For those who like beans, here is a recipe which is ready in just minutes, great tasting and perfect for many occasions.

Ingredients

2 onions, sliced in smaller strips
2 large cans of mixed beans – 750g
salt
pepper
1 teaspoon Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder
1 teaspoon oil
1 cup of vinegar (can also mix with water)

Preparation

  1. Wash and drain the beans.
  2. In a large bowl mix onion, salt, pepper, Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder and vinegar.
  3. Combine with beans and let stand for about 30 minutes prior to serving.
  4. In a bean salad you can also add fresh red, yellow or green paprika, cut in strips.

Serving

Serve as a side dish with meat, fish or any other main meal.

Tip

Capsicum and paprika added to the salad, adds a little colour – perfect for presentation.
