Beefsteak In Sherry Sauce
International cuisine offers many different ways of preparing beefsteak, this time with sherry sauce.

Ingredients

| 350 ml | water |
| 1 cube | Vegeta Beef stock |
| 4 x 150 g | beefsteaks |
| salt | |
| 1 pinch | black pepper |
| 2 tbsp | oil |
| 2 tsp | sugar |
| 150 ml | Sherry |
| 1 tbsp | corn flour |
| 30 ml | water |
Preparation
- Liquid stock: boil the water in a pot, add Vegeta Beef stock cube and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside for later.
- Rub beefsteaks with salt and pepper. Heat up oil in a pan and fry briefly beefsteaks from both sides. Reduce the heat and continue frying for another 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and place on warmed serving plates.
- Using the same oil, caramelise the sugar and add prepared liquid stock and Sherry. Dilute corn flour in water and add to the sauce. Cook briefly and pour it over the beefsteaks.
Serving
Serve with cooked rice or hot chips.
Tip
Instead of beefsteaks you can also use rump steaks.
