Vegeta and World History

In the first fifty years of Vegeta the world has changed irreversibly. Let's look from up close....

1959.Barbie was born	At the New York toy fair Ruth and Elliot Handler present Barbie – a new type of doll named after their daughter. Global toy market is created.	Vegeta was born.
1961.Gagarin in space	Radio Moscow reports: “First manned space flight launched. First astronaut was Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin”. The word has become bigger.	VEGETA exists for two years now and has started walking. 16 tons is produced!
1967.Satellite television	As part of the first satellite television Our World broadcast, The Beatles perform All you need is love, composed for that particular occasion. The word has become smaller.	First cooperations with foreign partners. First export to Hungary and Russia.
1971.Earth Day	UN Secretary-General proclaims Earth Day. The world starts to celebrate together.	Vegeta 40 changes its name to Vegeta.
1974.The oldest hominid	Skeleton of the oldest hominid discovered in Ethiopia, a much older human ancestor than it was believed. The world finds out how long we have been here.	Broadcast of the cult TV show "Little secrets of great chefs" starts.
1977.Star Wars premiere	The audience around the globe was faced with a completely different world of imagination and has started collecting figurines of film characters from many galaxies. There are many worlds.	Vegeta's 18^th birthday
1989.The Fall of the Berlin Wall	Symbolic breach of the wall around West Berlin starts the process of uniting Eastern Europe with the family of European nations. The world is no longer divided.	VEGETA exported to Australia, Canada, USA, Sudan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Lichtenstein and France.
1991.First web site	Tim Berners-Lee at the Swiss CERN creates the first web page and starts the never ending revolution. The world has started to connect better.	Born almost half a century ago.
1994.Mandela elected president	At the first democratic election in South Africa Nelson Mandela, legendary fighter for human rights, was elected president. The world has become less racist.	Vegeta packaging significantly redesigned.
1997.Kyoto protocol	Representatives of almost every country in the world agreed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, starting thus to stop human negative effect on planet's climate. We have to clean the world.	Vegeta present internationally for 30 years.
2005.Live 8 concerts	10 concerts were held simultaniously around the world. Through this events and huge media attention several millions of young people gave appeal to the leaders of G8 countries to annul the depts and by that allow new economical start to the poorest countries. Solidarity became important to the world.	Vegeta Mediteran and Vegeta Light were launched.
2006.Facebook has graduated from university.	Two years after experimental work under the wing of the university, Facebook has started to spread worldwide, becoming the preferred social networking web service. People are the world.	Vegeta Pikant has been launched.
2009.40^th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11 to the moon.	"This is a small step for a man, but a big one for mankind", were the words of an American astronaut Neil Armstrong, on May 20th 1969, as he landed the Apollo 11 onto the moons, sea of tranquillity and calm. Worlds are conquered with small steps.	Vegeta celebrates 50th Birthday.
